Time for the official announcement. We’d like to welcome Tambre to band on vocals. She’ll be familiar to some and brand new to others. We’re very excited with where things are going though…
Also, the new album has a name… False Prophets. We’re looking at a release date around late August! Stay tuned for some sample tracks to be uploaded here shortly!
…to the newest incarnation of the DDT website. To all of those that have supported us, thank you.
If you have been in the industrial scene for more than 5 minutes you have seen Vlad McNeally’s work. He has designed flyers, posters, and album covers for everyone. Nachmahr, Das Ich, Caustic, Vendetta Festival, etc, etc etc. This guy has a really extensive client base and excels at the old time propaganda poster style. I admit, I’m a sucker for that. We are leaning towards having him do the cover art for the next DDT CD, and it should be sweet. Check him out at , it’s some pretty amazing stuff.
Our dearest friend Triskyl of Savannah Georgia found this on the Wide World of YouTube. I love it when people take time out of their lives to put things like this together. Go Here to check it out.
We’ve been in the studio on and off for the last month and a half. While working, I quickly realized that we had to update some things to make workflow easier. Mission accomplished. So far there are about 4 songs done.
Now it’s back to the grind… Expect to hear a finished track in the next month or so.
A surprising thing has happened in the land of Darker Days Tomorrow, it turns out we are getting quite a following in Russia! We are literally getting hundreds of comments from people who have discovered us in the last year. My cyrillic is very rusty (actually it’s non-existant, but I have some friends who speak Russian) and I am humbled by all the great comments and the excitement we are getting from our friends just across the Bering Strait. Moscow has always been on my top 10 places I want to see someday, now all we need to do is plan some shows there! Thanks for the love and support and keep the comments coming!
This is one of our best friends in the world. He is an amazing DJ in the Atlanta Georgia and has spun at so many clubs and events it would take pages to tell you about them all. Right now he is the resident DJ at Sleep When You’re Dead in Birmingham AL and Secret Room in Tampa and Atlanta. He has been the DJ of the main party room on Saturday nights at Dragon Con and is quickly filling his calendar with events in Boston and Atlanta. He does a regular podcast filled with the latest and greatest in industrial boot stompage. Check him out here Audio Stimuli by DJ Nemesis
Darker Days Tomorrow is back in the studio and a new album is imminent! We are shooting for summer/fall of 2010, so stay tuned!
Back in ye olde year of 2002, Emergence (the first band Pseudosanct and I were in together) played a show in Kansas City at a place called Davey’s Uptown. I remember being impressed because they had stickers of every who’s who in the industrial scene on the ‘we have played here’ wall. I got to add our sticker to that wall as well. Awesome right? Well the coolest part of this was that the DJ that night was a girl known as Annabel Evil. She was in pink and had pigtails, but was quite the DJ. As the years went on she was everywhere and has made quite a name for herself. Her newest venture is helping Jet Berelson launch the gothic social networking site Vampire Freaks into a very successful brick and mortar store in New York City. They have hosted everyone from Combichrist to VNV Nation and have no intentions of slowing down. The next time you are in New York I recommend stopping by and saying hello to the lovely Annabel, she has honestly helped build something great! Buy some stuff here at Vampire Freaks
